The White Pine Festival will hold two volunteer information events this week at the Stillwater Public Library. Past and new volunteers are all invited to attend the event, which includes a presentation about the festival and information about volunteer opportunities.
“We know a lot of St. Croix Valley residents want to learn more about this annual summer event, and looking for ways to get involved. We’ll have plenty of information about ways to volunteer, but no pressure,” said festival president Matt Thueson.
The events will be held Thursday, Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb 6 at 10:30 a.m. Both events will be in Margaret Rivers Meeting Room B at the Stillwater Public Library. No reservations are required.
Volunteer opportunities are listed online at http://www.whitepinefestival.org/volunteer.
The White Pine Festival, held each June, features nationally known musicians and other artists at events in the historic St. Croix Valley. The fourth annual festival will be held June 24-27, 2010. More information is available at whitepinefestival.org.
