Identify and manage the food and beverage requirements for all catered festival events, including but not limited to receptions and post-concert events, backstage refreshments for artists, intermission refreshments at some events, etc. Coordinate with Local Business Support Chair in reaching out to local vendors and venues, as well as with the event coordinator and event managers. Manage expenses within the approved catering budget, according to event needs and priorities.
Timeframe: January - June (Prefestival planning, festival supervision.)
Time committment: 1-2 hours/month, increasing to significantly more time during the festival week, including attendance at festival events to coordinate the setup, work, and takedown of the caterers or other food production.
Desired qualifications: Good communication skills, the ability to coordinate with other committees and work cooperatively with vendors.
