Responsible for one or more festival events. The manager should be the main point of contact for the event, interfacing with the venue's point of contact, as well as all festival volunteers and related committee chairs, essentially the "expert" for that particular event. For each event, the manager will supervise and check all ticket, merchandise, catering, and artist care work. The manager will also be responsible for any equipment rentals, including pianos, tables, chairs, microphones, etc, and any other coordinating responsibilities not covered by other committees.
Timeframe: February - June (Most of the work is done before the festival. Supervising and coordinating is required during the events, approximately two hours for each event.)
Time committment: Depends on the number of events.
Desired qualifications: Impeccable communication skills, the ability to plan well in advance of the events and time to be at the festival events in June. Good problem solving skills for issues that arrive in real time.
